A weekend at the sea in Paternoster
There are so many small towns not too far from Cape Town, in all directions! I’m thinking Gretyon, Langebaan, Tulbagh, Stellenbosch - Just to name a few. One of my favourites has to be Paternoster - Found along the West Coast about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Cape Town. As a part of my mother's birthday celebrations, as a family we went up the coast for the weekend - We stayed in a great self catering house right on the beachfront called Moschel - It was perfect. The main house had 3 bedrooms (1 of them extended to include double bunks) and a small flatlet. It's even dog friendly, so Cooper was allowed to join us which was ideal.
We went up on the Friday afternoon and just lazed the weekend away. The house itself had a swimming pool so we didn't even spend the day at the beach apart from morning and afternoon strolls. There really is something about getting away for even just a little while that kind of does good things to your soul!
