Emily Moon
We had such big plans for a Summer holiday and had been left disappointed by the weather - Of course we made the best of it, but when you sign up for Summer, anything but lounging by the pool, doesnt really count. After dining at Emily Moon prior to this trip, we were very excited to have the opportunity to stay overnight. We arrived feeling a little worse of wear but were determined to enjoy our stay, so after a quick cup of coffee in our room, we walked around the lodge to see where everything was.
Ashton and I both loved Bali. Apart from the country, the people and the culture, we loved the design elements - Rustic, the green vegetation and plenty of natural wood. Emily Moon is like a little piece of Bali, right in the middle of Plettenberg Bay. The attention to detail in the decor is amazing. I think I may have gone a little overboard with the decor shots, but I couldnt help myself. Between the quick walk around before dinner and again after breakfast, I snapped everything I saw.
Of course when it was time to check out - the Sun, it was a blazing - Out in full force. The kind folk at Emily Moon allowed us to spend as much time at the pool as we wanted, and that's exactly what we did. We had a Summer Holiday.
It's a beautiful resort and the food is amazing - If you're ever in the area, trust me on this one, this is the place to stay and eat. Here is a glimpse of the beauty that is Emily Moon.
