Baby Love: Hudson Dewey

When Tracey & Andrew were married a few years back, a recurrent theme in their wedding was the EE Cummings poem, 'I carry your heart with me'. They had the words laser cut and displayed on a wall next to the dance floor. When they wedding was over, they took the words and they now form a part of the decor in their bedroom.   Of course we had to incorporate this when photographing Hudson - The words are so powerful.   Hudson Anthony Dewey was born on Friday, 26 September @ 08h14 - We stopped in a for a quick visit and a mini shoot when he was ten days old - His second shoot in his is first 10 days.   When I chat with expectant moms about newborn shoots, I explain that I am a portrait and lifestyle photographer. While I can and if they like, I will take pics of their newborn in stylised poses, its not what I specialise in. If that's what they want, I like to refer them to a photographer that will give them those specific images. This was the case with Tracey - She wanted those specific shots, so she took him for a shoot when he was 7 days old with Stella Sassen.
