Courtney & Cole

I’m not a parent, but if I were, I imagine once your kids are a little older, there must be nothing better than having the privilege of looking back at a time when they were young and you were there, present, engaged and in the moment - It’s the main reason I do family portraits, to help create those very moments.

I met up with Courtney and Cole on what seemed like it may be a rainy day in Cape Town - Instead, it was a warm overcast summers evening with no wind and very few others on the beach, so we literally had the most amazing light and backdrop.

They were so sweet together we couldn’t do anything but create beautiful images I know Courtney will look back on and be thankful that she scheduled and went through with the shoot regardless of the fact that she didn’t think Cole would co-operate, regardless of what the weather was doing, regardless of anything other than, she was there, present, engaged, and in the moment <3
