We all love to look at beautiful images right? Those impeccably styled shots of glamorous locations with amazing props, gorgeous models and absolutely perfect light. The kind of images that flood the pages of Pinterest. If you know what I’m talking about, chances are, you’ll probably know that a huge supply of them are from styled shoots.
The point of a styled shoot is to showcase the work of talented individuals that have chosen to work together in the hopes of inspiring viewers. Debbie Lourens, an industry friend, has mastered the styled shoot. She has worked with amazing talents in the industry and delivers time upon time. She announced she’d be hosting a styled shoot workshop and I signed up.
The workshop was split over two days at Belair Country House & Events Venue in Paarl – On Day 1, Debbie took the lead and shared her knowledge before introducing Coral & Chantell who did the same – They’re the power force behind Green Goddess Flower Studio. The day’s speakers were rounded off with the very talented Yolande Marx.
Tips exposed, it was time to shoot the amazing creations Coral and Chantal had put together, with model Jana Barnardt looking absolutely flawless in a Janita Toerien original.
